Background

I began my tennis journey in Romania, where I ranked Top 15 nationally in the U10, U12, and U14 categories before continuing my competitive development in Canada, where I lived, played, and coached for 17 years. Experiencing two distinct tennis cultures shaped my perspective early, blending structure and creativity while strengthening my adaptability and understanding of effective training both on and off the court.

I competed in Canada through my university years, becoming a two time Canadian University National Champion and a three time Ontario Provincial Champion. During this period, I balanced high performance tennis with academic studies at the Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto, where I earned my iBBA, International Bachelor of Business Administration, specializing in Marketing and Entrepreneurship.

Following university, I transitioned fully into coaching, bringing both competitive insight and academic structure into my work with players and coaches.

Today, I bring that international experience back to Bucharest.

Alongside my on court work, I currently collaborate as Social Media Host with Tennis Canada, contributing my expertise to national projects and providing updates on Canadian players competing around the world.

With a background contributing to coach education within Tennis Canada, an ITF Gold Standard federation, I have supported national curriculum design, participation, and coach development initiatives that impact communities across the country. I have also supported women in coaching by organizing both online and in person initiatives that promote a more equitable environment, and created Tennis Canada’s Girls Leadership Program, designed to keep girls in sport while building the leadership skills needed to confidently impact their communities on and off the court.

Alongside this work, I have coached independently at WTA and ITF events, including the US Open and Roland Garros. These experiences refined my understanding of high performance environments, match demands, and the level of clarity required to compete successfully.

My approach prioritizes tactical awareness, intelligent movement, and building confidence through understanding the game. Sessions are active, structured, purposeful, and welcoming, designed for recreational and competitive players, juniors and adults alike.

Coach Education

My philosophy extends beyond the court into coach education and lifelong learning. I consider myself a student of the game for life and strongly believe in the learning paradox: the more we know, the more we realize how much we do not know.

For that reason, I always look for opportunities to learn from others, regardless of age, experience, or level. Growth requires curiosity, humility, and a willingness to stay open to new ideas. Insight can come from players, coaches, colleagues, and even beginners seeing the game with fresh eyes.
